Every time you go to a party or have a pot luck there is one dish that stands out from the crowd. One thing that people in the room are buzzing about. Hand dipped marshmallows are a sure fire party hit. The combinations are limited only by your imagination. These chocolate dipped marshmallows can be customized based on your party theme, school or company colors. Anything you can dream up that goes well with chocolate can serve as a great topping for these delectable treats.
For this I chose a few toppings that sounded good at the time, but even after serving them at the party we hosted recently I already have ideas for a number of other combinations I can't wait to break out next time. - White Chocolate or Vanilla Almond Bark
- Milk Chocolate or Chocolate Almond Bark
- Jumbo Marshmallows
- Toothpicks or Lollipop sticks
- Toppings / Coatings
- Wax Paper
- Double Boiler
Directions:
Set up two double boilers on your stove and melt the chocolate
Place your marshmallow toppings into small bowls
Insert toothpick or lollipop stick into center of marshmallow
Roll your marshmallow in the melted chocolate to coat, then roll in topping (or sprinkle topping over chocolate coated marshmallow if you want a lighter coating of the topping)
Place hand dipped marshmallow on wax paper and allow chocolate to cool and harden
Eat and Enjoy!
